The research project “The Beauty and the Machine 3” investigates how combining robotics with aesthetic learning experiences can encourage (prospective) teachers to use learning robots more extensively in the classroom.
The Project Lunch offers insight into the project’s theoretical framework. At its core are the theory of aesthetic learning experiences according to Uhrmacher (2009) and the broader research paradigm of holistic learning. Building on Uhrmacher’s approach, the research team first outlines various measures that can foster aesthetic learning experiences. Two studies then illustrate how these measures were implemented in concrete research practice.
