The Executive Board brings together the five BeLEARN supporting universities. Together with the Advisory Board, they strategically shape the future of research, teaching and educational practice in the digital transformation.
The Board
The BeLEARN board is composed of representatives from the five supporting universities – the University of Bern, Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), Bern University of Teacher Education (PHBern), EPFL and the Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training (SFUVET).
As a strategic management body, the board is responsible for the long-term orientation and development of BeLEARN. The close collaboration between the five universities within the board strengthens inter-institutional networking and ensures that the needs of research, teaching, and educational practice are taken into account in a balanced manner.

Advisory Board
The BeLEARN advisory board consists of renowned experts from the fields of education, research, and business. Its main task is to support BeLEARN in identifying and assessing technological and social trends and their impact on the education system at an early stage.
Through its work, the advisory board makes a significant contribution to broadly supporting, critically reflecting on, and specifically developing BeLEARN’s overall strategy. It provides strategic impetus for the teaching and learning of the future, advises BeLEARN on current issues, and promotes networking with relevant national and international partners. In this way, the advisory board strengthens BeLEARN’s role as a centre of innovation and excellence at the interface of education, research, and technology.
