Background
The integration of students with ADHD into mainstream schools and vocational training settings poses a significant challenge for many professionals. There is often a lack of knowledge about ADHD and of effective strategies for adapting teaching and learning environments to their needs. This is precisely where Inside ADHD comes in.
Innovative Approach
Inside ADHD is a three-part educational tool that works on three levels: A VR simulation allows you to experience typical ADHD traits, such as distractibility, daydreaming and limited working memory, helping to build empathy for those affected. Short videos provide a concise introduction to the neurobiological foundations of ADHD. An idea pool with practical guidance materials offers concrete strategies for designing lessons and learning environments that better support pupils with ADHD. Inside ADHD covers the entire process: from raising awareness to taking practical action.
Programme
The launch event will begin with a presentation by ADHD coach Simone Pfeiffer on symptoms, challenges and proven strategies for everyday school and vocational training settings. You will also be introduced to the accompanying materials, which provide practical options for action. Afterwards, the ADHD VR simulation will allow you to experience first-hand what ADHD symptoms may feel like.
