The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. In cooperation with our hosting providers, we endeavor to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

We collect only the data necessary to operate Edu 3D-Viewer and comply with Meta’s policies:

  • Account Information: Meta account identifiers (user ID), username, and public profile data provided by Meta.
  • Device Data: Hardware type, operating system, IP address, and Meta Quest device identifiers.
  • Usage Analytics: Session duration, in-game interactions, and crash reports.
  • User Content: Voice chat recordings, text inputs, and in-game creations.
  • Third-Party LLM Interactions: All user inputs/text submitted to our third-party large language model (LLM) provider OpenAI for processing.

 

2. How We Use Data

We process data to:

  • Deliver and maintain the game (e.g., save progress, enable multiplayer features).
  • Improve gameplay experience (analyze usage patterns via aggregated analytics).
  • Moderate content for safety (review user-generated content and chat logs).
  • Third-Party LLM Processing: User inputs are shared with OpenAI solely to power in-game AI features. OpenAI processes inputs in real-time and does not retain or store user text beyond the immediate processing period.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Legal Basis: Processing is based on (1) your consent and (2) legitimate interest in providing our services.

 

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

We share data only as follows:

  • With Meta: Required account/device data to operate on the Meta Platform.
  • With OpenAI: User inputs/text for real-time AI processing. We confirm this complies with Meta’s Developer Data Use Policy 6.2. https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/.
  • No data is sold to advertisers or unrelated third parties.

4. Data Deletion Requests

To delete your data:

  1. Via Email: Contact info@belearn.swiss with “Data Deletion” in the subject line.
  2. Meta Platform: Request deletion via Meta’s Privacy Center.

Note: Some anonymized analytics may be retained for legal/compliance reasons.

 

5. Meta-Specific Policies

  • We adhere to Meta’s Data Use Requirements and Developer Policies.
  • We do not collect sensitive health data or precise physical location.
  • Users under 13 are prohibited per Meta’s age requirements. For educational purposes, users under the age of 13 may use the application in special cases under the supervision of an adult.

We value your trust in providing us with your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
