About dip
dip offers upper secondary school teachers in the canton of Bern a platform for sharing digital teaching and learning methods, developing new ideas together, and strengthening their digital literacy.
About the Project
dip is an innovation promotion project of the Canton of Bern and has been managed by BeLEARN on behalf of the Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt (MBA) since 2021. The aim is to bring together upper secondary school teachers in the Canton of Bern to support them in the application and further development of digital teaching and learning methods and process optimisation. This contributes to promoting digital sovereignty for all involved.
dip also supports the bridge between research and practice. The focus of the collaboration is on BeLEARN’s supporting universities. On the one hand, research results should be made available to teachers. On the other hand, questions from the community can in turn provide inspiration for new research projects.
The dip Community
The dip community is made up of various education stakeholders. In line with a bottom-up approach, dip is geared towards the needs of teachers.
Teachers
Upper secondary school teachers form the basis of the dip community, as they experience the effects, changes and opportunities of digitalisation in the classroom first-hand. dip offers them a framework for sharing these experiences and learning from each other.
Innoscouts
The Innoscouts are the link between the coordination team and the schools. They explore creative implementations of digital technology at their respective schools, promote them, and act as contact persons for their colleagues if they have any questions about dip.
The Coordination Team
The coordination team consists of the project management from the BeLEARN office and teachers from secondary schools in the canton of Bern. Experience from teaching practice and the BeLEARN network are thus combined to develop diverse and practical offerings for the community.
