Over a longer period of time, we examine the topic from different perspectives and provide a wide range of offerings for different needs.

Would you like to learn more about the topic? To kick off dipFocus, you can look forward to a practical input presentation with exciting insights from research and ideas for everyday school life. You will also have the opportunity to exchange ideas and share thoughts with other teachers.
Bazaar
Exchange ideas with teachers
Would you like to be inspired by colleagues and present your own ideas or projects? At dipFocus, you can attend open learning bazaars at vocational schools and grammar schools in the canton of Bern. You can move freely between themed stations, exchange experiences and contribute your own knowledge.
Online exchange
Interact with the community
Would you like to exchange ideas and stay up to date? During the dipFocus period, you will have access to a dedicated Teams channel where you can ask questions, discuss applications, and share your ideas. The dip coordination team will provide regular exciting input. You can also present your own implementations – upload an innovation to the dip app or host a webinar and share your teaching ideas with the dip community.

Digital collaboration
The second edition of dipFocus is dedicated to digital collaboration. Together, we will explore how digital tools can strengthen cooperation, organisation, and exchange in everyday school life.
The kick-off input event will take place on 14 January 2026.
dipFocus I – Digitality and Distraction
Digitality undoubtedly offers great potential for successful learning – but it also poses challenges. In dipFocus I, we took a close look at how digital tools can influence learners’ attention and which strategies can help to focus attention on learning in the classroom.
Input presentation: Understanding distraction in the digital age
Prof. em. Lutz Jäncke offered insights into the neurobiological foundations of young people and derived recommendations on how teachers can support pupils in dealing with distractions caused by digital media.
