The project is being funded by the canton of Bern.
BeLEARN is an initiative of the canton of Bern and is run as an association. BeLEARN comprises five supporting universities: the University of Bern, the Bern University of Teacher Education, the Bern University of Applied Sciences, the Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training, and the EPFL. BeLEARN also includes the research groups of the universities, various start-ups, and the administrative office.

Yes, all vocational and upper secondary schools funded by the canton are participating in the project. Private upper secondary schools are welcome to participate on a voluntary basis.
No. This project is funded by the canton of Bern and does not cost upper secondary school teachers anything.
Yes. Participation is voluntary. You can deregister from the exchange at any time.
No. Participation is voluntary. However, participation offers nothing but advantages, as you can benefit from it whenever you want and decide for yourself how actively you want to participate in the exchange.
