Trail Modules
Our trails can be individually tailored to the interests of the participants.
Module 1 : XaraEdu
In the XaraEdu module, participants experience realistic, AI-supported conversation simulations in VR or in a browser. They practise challenging dialogues, receive personalised feedback, and reflect on their communication behaviour. Through practical scenarios and adaptive AI analyses, they specifically strengthen their conversation skills and empathy in a safe, interactive learning space.
Module 2: Infinadeck
On the omnidirectional Infinadeck treadmill, participants experience how movement and learning come together in virtual worlds. Securely fastened in place, they learn to move freely in all directions, explore virtual spaces, and interact with digital objects. Fun fact: there are only two Infinadecks in Switzerland. One is located at EPFL Lausanne, the other at BeLEARN.
Module 3: EdTech Start-ups
In the EdTech Start-ups module, participants gain insights into innovative digital learning technologies and future trends in education. Start-ups from the BeLEARN community present their solutions, share experiences from development practice, and invite discussion about new forms of teaching and learning in an increasingly digital educational world.
Module 4: Projects
In the Projects module, participants gain insights into current educational research and innovative approaches from the BeLEARN research community. Researchers share their latest findings, discuss open questions, and invite dialogue on insights, challenges, and opportunities at the interface of science, technology, and education.
